A donation today is a dream for a better tomorrow.

Campaigns, unfortunately, cost money. I had no idea how much until I started this campaign, and I have a feeling this will always be my least favorite part of the whole process. But campaigns require funding, which means I have to ask for it. I’m truly grateful for anything you can give.

What does your donation get you? At this point, your donation is a dream for the future you want to live in. For the next two years, we will have to live in a country where Republicans control every single lever of power in the federal government. One where the Department of Education is being dismantled while our children fall further and further behind; one where the integrity of Social Security and Medicaid is no longer guaranteed; and one where the rights and protections guaranteed by the Constitution aren’t as secure as they were just six short months ago.

But we envision a different future. We see a future where government acknowledges the injustices of a flawed system and says, "We can fix that, and we must." A government that recognizes our children are falling behind and invests in their education rather than dismantling the institutions meant to support them. A government that funds Social Security and Medicaid by making high earners pay their fair share. A government that recognizes that an attack on an immigrant's right to due process is an attack on everyone's rights.

We are the dreamers who envision a more optimistic future. Join me as I work to make our dream a reality.
