I am Peter Filler, and I’m running to represent Texas’ 9th Congressional District with ethics, honesty, and integrity. With my Bachelor of Science in Resource Management and years of teaching experience, I am prepared to serve East Houston and Liberty County by putting We the People first.

Prioritizing Our Community: I will work tirelessly to improve our district by securing investments in infrastructure, job creation, and social services that enhance the lives of our residents.
Protecting Unalienable Rights: I will champion policies that safeguard our fundamental rights and promote collaboration with local, state, and federal leaders.
Affordable Healthcare: I will fight for subsidies to ensure affordable health insurance for those without employer coverage, and I’ll advocate for increased funding for Medicare, Medicaid, SNAP, WIC, marketplace subsidies, Social Security, and nursing homes.
Economic Growth: On the Ways and Means Committee, I’ll leverage my expertise to attract businesses to our district through grants and establish scholarships for college students with innovative business plans.
Energy Resilience: I’ll partner with oil and gas companies to boost efficiency, prevent power outages, and invest in innovative energy solutions that create jobs, lower costs, and capture industrial byproducts for sustainable energy distribution.
Collaborative Leadership: On the Energy and Commerce Committee, I’ll work with colleagues to deliver win-win outcomes for our communities and industries.
