Fatmata Barrie has been a lawyer, small business owner, community activist and organizer in Montgomery County for over 20 years. She wants to bring that experience to the council and create an equitable and sustainable county for all residents. By fighting for affordable housing, better schools, support for business owners and protections from the Trump Administration- Fatmata will make sure Montgomery County serves all and is a place residents can prosper and feel safe.
Fatmata is running a people powered campaign using the county's public finance system. While any individual legally able to donate to political campaigns within the US can contribute, county residents will have their contribution matched:
