Dear Neighbors,

Together we’ve had a successful first term here in Ward 7 and we can do it again. After knocking on over 1,000 doors, it’s been made abundantly clear to me that I need to stay focused on the issues that Ward 7 residents are most concerned about:

• affordability
• public safety
• long-term solutions to both our housing and homelessness crisis

I’ve spent my first two years with an eye towards:

• cultivating a sustainable city government in a challenging budgetary landscape
• engaging in complex conversations around the impacts of substance use, crime, and harm in our city

With your continued support, we can ensure I remain at the table as a strong voice for the diverse opinions that make up our Ward 7 community. That includes advocating for:

• smart budgetary decisions
• humane and pragmatic public safety policies and investments
• pushing back against tax policies and spending that will raise rents
• and much more

I’ve built and maintained connections across the city and state, including working diplomatically with the Governor’s office to bring more resources and accountability to Burlington. And importantly, I’ve made decisions based on community outreach and fair data–frequently communicating with constituents and going door-to-door all year round, not just during campaign season.
