I'm a former public high school teacher in the Bronx, a current CPS mom, and the person whose raising a ruckus for more afterschool.

Donate to our campaign for a relentless focus on equity that raises academic achievement for every child, including adopting 📗 science-based reading methods + ensuring all children can succeed in 🧮 8th grade Algebra.

This campaign is also about making feedback part of CPS operations — there's almost none right now. CPS needs to listen to parents, teachers, nonprofit partners, and students.

CPS needs to use afterschool programs as a valuable opportunity for supporting academic and socio-emotional growth.

Kids care about the environment - let's invest in a fleet of electric buses and reduce 🚌 bus usage (and save money) by investing in 🚴 biking- and walking-routes to school.
