My name is Erin Elizabeth Gámez and I am your Texas State Representative for House District 38. As a Cameron County native, born and raised in Brownsville, Texas, my passion is to serve and place our Community First for a Better Tomorrow!

After graduating from law school, I moved back home to our district and joined our small family business, which my father began 30 years ago. I have been practicing law for the past five years as an advocate for families across the State of Texas.

I am honored to serve my community as State Representative. I understand the importance that legislation plays in developing opportunities in our district, and that’s what I'm doing for our community. I'm bringing us the opportunities we – our families and children – deserve to become a destination for education, small business growth, and job placement.

My passion for service has guided and motivated me to earn the trust and respect of not only my clients, but my peers and colleagues as well. I am driven to continue to earn that same trust and respect from the public as your state representative.

I will continue to represent and defend my community with the same level of vigor, commitment, and passion as I do with my small business and family. We appreciate your support.
