+ Our mission: The Goal of East Middle PTO is to work in a partnership between Parents, Teachers, Staff and Students to enhance and strengthen the Educational and Social environment for all who attend East Middle School.

+ We raise funds to supplement school budgets, enabling them to underwrite the cost of various initiatives such as:

 - Learning activities and field trips

- Equipment and resources

- Assemblies and special programs

- Teacher and staff appreciation activities

* Community Engagement: PTOs foster relationships between parents, guardians, teachers, staff, and the wider school community.

* Specific examples of activities and programs:

- Organizing school dances and other events

- Fundraisers like Pizza Kit sales or restaurant nights.

- Supporting educational enrichment opportunities, such as curriculum enhancement programs or technology initiatives.

- Hosting open houses or back-to-school nights to welcome families and connect them with the school community. 

+ How we operate as charities:

- PTOs typically achieve their charitable goals by fundraising and volunteering. They often: 

- Organize fundraisers throughout the school year.

- Seek volunteers to help plan and execute events and support school initiatives.

- May be organized under a broader PTA Council, which can facilitate donations.
