Serving as a public school educator for over 25 years has been an honor. As a teacher, principal, county office administrator, and elected school board member, I’ve turned underperforming schools into high performers, built teacher and leader pathways, and advanced policies and initiatives that elevate student and family voices. But my work is far from over—that’s why I’m running for Contra Costa County Superintendent of Schools. As Superintendent, I will bring bold, experienced leadership to ensure fiscal responsibility, support student mental health, strengthen career pathways, expand the educator pipeline, and make Contra Costa County a hub of innovation and excellence.
