I’m Demi Palecek — a queer working-class veteran and proud daughter of a Mexican immigrant.

For over 14 years, I wore the uniform. I survived sexual assault while on duty. I was deployed to defend our nation’s Capitol after January 6th. I know what it means to stand on the frontlines of democracy — and I’m ready to do it again.

I’ve fought for trans service members. I’ve advocated for survivors of military sexual assault. And I’ve organized in my own community to feed, house, and protect our neighbors. Now, I’m bringing that same fight to Springfield — for justice, compassion, and accountability.
