I’m Demi Palecek, a working-class kid and the proud daughter of a Mexican immigrant. I served in the military, survived sexual assault on duty, and was deployed to defend the Capitol after Jan 6.

I've stood on the frontlines of defending democracy before.

I'm running to do it again.

I’ve defended trans service members, stood with fellow military sexual assault survivors, and done the work in my community to feed and house our neighbors.

Now, I'm running to bring that fight to Springfield.
