Proven Public Servant
Thank you for being here and for putting your trust in me as a candidate. I’m running because South Carolina and House District 116 can do better.
We rank near the bottom nationally in education, healthcare, infrastructure, and affordability. Yet too many legislators spend their time focused on social issues and taking away rights instead of solving the problems families deal with every day.
I’ve spent my life in public service. I served 20 years in the United States Navy on five submarines, including years spent underwater protecting our country and the liberties we all enjoy.
After my Navy service, I continued serving my community as a member of the Charleston County School Board, working to improve opportunities for students and ensure fairness across our schools.
Over the past few years, I’ve worked to create change from the outside. I went to the SC Statehouse more than 30 times to fight for equality and liberty for all. But real change requires a seat at the table.
The Goal
I’m running to fight for a state where people can afford to see a doctor when they’re sick, where small towns aren’t overrun by corporate interests, where property tax reform protects working families without taking resources away from our public schools, and where those schools are fully funded so every child has access to a high-quality education close to home.
The Path to Victory
This race will be decided by voter contact. We don’t need to match big money dollar for dollar, but we must have the resources to knock on every door and talk to every voter.
If you believe District 116 deserves better, please chip in today.
