Contribution Disclaimer for People for Duran By making this contribution, I certify that I am a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident, and I am at least 18 years old. I am donating my own funds, not those provided by a corporation, business, or another individual for the purpose of making this contribution. Additionally, I am not acting as a conduit to pass funds from multiple sources, except as allowed for professional fundraisers, political committees, or immediate family members. Under Colorado law, we are required to collect and report the name and mailing address of all donors who contribute more than $20 during the election cycle. Additionally, for individuals whose total contributions exceed $100, we must report their occupation and employer. Prohibited Contributions We cannot accept contributions from federal contractors, lobbyists, or principals of lobbyists. Foreign nationals or foreign governments are also prohibited from donating, as well as corporations, both domestic and foreign. Non-U.S. citizens who are not lawful permanent residents and other candidate committees are also ineligible to contribute. Special Contribution Rules Labor organizations may not donate directly, but PACs affiliated with labor organizations may be eligible to contribute. Limited liability companies (LLCs) may donate only if all members of the LLC are eligible donors. This means members must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents and not corporations, labor organizations, foreign nationals, foreign governments, lobbyists, or principals of lobbyists. Additionally, the LLC must not be treated as a corporation by the IRS or have publicly traded shares. As an additional requirement imposed by People for Duran, The LLC must submit an Affirmation Statement verifying that all members are eligible to donate, the LLC is not taxed as a corporation, and it has no publicly traded shares.
