My name is Theresa Courts, and I am running for US House of Representatives, District 38 in Texas. As a Veteran of the National Guard, I support the second amendment- as a teacher and parent I know firsthand the desperate need for common sense gun reform to protect our children. Growing up with a single mom, I exemplify the American Dream- A dream that, despite hard work is so often out of reach for many Americans thanks to rising prices and stagnate wages as corporate profits soar; When you elect me to congress, I will fight for a living minimum wage and common sense gun reforms to keep our community safe and help them thrive.
