Support Action at Common Power

Sponsor a fellow CP community member for Fieldwork travel to knock doors and mobilize voters around the country. Your support will pay for their travel, food, and lodging. We will pull primarily from our Action Academy students and Institute Educators, our younger and more diverse pathways into the CP community. Thank you so much! Donations are not tax deductible. 🙏🏽

In a world dominated by MAGA and a demagogue American president, we are determined in our electoral fieldwork to support bold, creative leaders who can craft new pathways forward in the fight for a just and inclusive America. We need breakthroughs. We will seek to make these happen in elections in Virginia, in New Jersey, in Arizona, in Minnesota, New York, Texas, Tennessee, and in Seattle. Specifically, we are working ion Autumn 2025 for campaigns with these dimensions:

Breakthrough Representation: candidates and campaigns who embody or are explicitly committed to overcoming historic barriers, ceilings, and exclusive systems. Think Abigail Spanberger and Ghazala Hashmi on the same ticket in VA, or Mike Sherrill as part of the end of “The Machine” in NJ..

Breakthrough Communications: candidates and campaigns whose creative communication methods are attracting voters we absolutely need to reach, particularly MAGA or traditionally disengaged voters. Think Zohran Mamdani in NY.

Breakthrough Coalitions: candidates and campaigns who are striving to engineer new political coalitions that cross entrenched partisan, economic, racial, geographical, and religious lines. Think Grijalva in AZ, Zahilay and Wilson in Seattle.
