Meet Leslie Sandberg:
Leslie is running for her second term as a Provincetown Select Board Member. She believes that attainable housing for all income levels and climate resiliency are the top priorities for the town.
In the last three years, Leslie worked with her colleagues and the town on affordable, community and seasonal housing projects that are moving forward, getting a new police station built, and a multi-year sewer expansion initiative to connect all properties in town.
Leslie also championed a transportation pilot program to reduce the cost of commuting for those who work in Provincetown. After working with concerned neighbors to mitigate damage from severe winter storms, Leslie advocated to put $150,000 in this year’s Department of Public Works budget to fund short-term solutions to Town flooding.
She enjoys working with residents on issues that matter to them, listening to their concerns and finding solutions.
Leslie is a partner in the public and government affairs company Rose, Sandberg & Associates, based in Provincetown. She was recently appointed as an alternate member of the Cape Cod National Seashore Advisory Council.
