Colin is running to represent California's 51st State Assembly District because, like many Californians, he wants a state government that supports and uplifts working families, not one that caters to the ultra wealthy.


California has a serious affordability issue. It has a severe housing crisis. ICE is ripping families apart. Healthcare is still not a universal right.


We need someone who will stand for everyday people, not a career politician whose values change based on whatever their rich corporate donors say.


Colin has spent the past decade working in issue advocacy and the nonprofit sector, with groups tackling LGBTQ rights, criminal justice and immigration reform, economic justice, and homelessness advocacy. Sacramento needs an activist who is tapped into the needs of working Californians. Sacramento needs Colin Hernandez.
