I believe in putting the needs of our very diverse community first. I will initiate and drive efforts that will benefit District 8, along with McHenry county, in the areas of economic development, affordable housing options and sustainable land use practices. If we are to grow our communities, we must balance the type and speed of growth so that it does not adversely impact our environment and infrastructure. It is important that we continue to support and maintain our Open Land, Agricultural, rural and urban communities, as this is what makes McHenry County work.
