Chelsea Kirk is running for the KY House of Representatives in District 73. This District encompasses Clark County (Winchester) and a southeastern portion of Fayette County. Around 43,000 people live in this district, and Chelsea's goal is to make sure their voices are heard in Frankfort.
Chelsea's priorities include:
-Fully funding our public school system and improving pay and working conditions for our teachers. Education is the tide that rises all boats. We must invest in our children's education to build a strong Kentucky in 10, 20, or 30 years from now.
-Protecting rural hospitals. Rural hospitals provide indispensable services to Kentuckians who live outside of city centers, as well as create jobs and stimulate the local economy. Reckless funding cuts in Washington will cost us the lives of real people here in Kentucky.
-Supporting legislation that protects middle- and working-class families. This includes ensuring that workers are able to collectively bargain, working to raise the minimum wage, and supporting families with children through programs like Universal Pre-K and Free Breakfast and Lunch for all Public School Students.
How will your donation be used? Here are current financial needs we have:
-$250: The cost to purchase a license to access detailed voter data. Our team of 30 volunteers (and growing!) cannot knock doors or make phone calls to voters without Chelsea first purchasing access to this database.
-$100: A donation in this amount will help us make payments on all of the branding and marketing work that has been done for the campaign. This includes the design of all logos, website work, and upcoming printed materials to be used when meeting constituents in-person. All of Chelsea's design work was done by a local artist, not AI.
-$73: A donation in this amount (in honor of District 73) will help Chelsea prepare for upcoming printed materials, like flyers to hand out as she meets constituents, and logo magnets for supporters to put on their cars.
