Carlis has devoted over 10 years of service delivering high-quality care to our nation's heroes and underserved populations building trust, compassion, and connection throughout Harris County. She is also a strong community leader who has developed and led programs that that empower women, support youth, and strengthen families.


Now, she's running for Harris County District Clerk with the goal of leveraging her expertise to make

the District Clerks Office more efficient, accountable, and responsive to the people it serves. She is also aiming to restore trust and bridge the gap between the courts and the community.
