Contribution rules

  1. I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
  2. This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
  3. I am at least eighteen years old.
Contributions must include the contributor's street address. PO boxes are not allowed. Contributions to the California Democratic Party are not tax deductible. Contributions will only be used in connection with California non-federal elections. Under Proposition 34, contributions, including those from unions, corporations and PACs, are limited to $49,000 per year if used to make contributions to support candidates for state elective office. Proposition 34 imposes no limits on contributions used for purposes other than making contributions to support candidates for state elective office. Please make checks payable to "California Democratic Party / Nonfederal Account (state fppc id #741666)." State law requires political committees to report the name, street address, occupation and employer for each individual whose contributions aggregate $100 or more in a calendar year.
