Contribution rules
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- I am not a federal contractor.
- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
Contributions to Blumenthal Victory Fund will be allocated as follows:
Contributions or gifts to Blumenthal Victory Fund are not tax deductible.
Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation and name of employer of all individuals who contribute more than $200 in an election cycle.
The first $3,500 of each contribution from a person and the first $5,000 from a multicandidate committee (“PAC”) will be allocated to Blumenthal for Connecticut and designated to the 2028 Convention election. The next $5,000/$5,000 of each contribution from a person/multicandidate PAC will be allocated to Nutmeg PAC. The next $3,500/$5,000 will be allocated to Blumenthal for Connecticut and will be designated to the 2028 General election.
A contributor may designate his or her contribution for a particular participant by emailing blumenthal@capcompliance.com. The allocation formula above may change if following it would result in an excessive contribution.
