Beverley Chang is thrilled to announce her candidacy for Peekskill Common Council! A lifelong public servant and dedicated community advocate, this next step is a natural extension of her enduring commitment to service and civic engagement.
For over 20 years, Beverley has worked as a Physician Assistant at a major safety-net hospital in Brooklyn, providing compassionate care to some of the most vulnerable populations. Her passion for helping others doesn’t end at the hospital doors—she has been a tireless volunteer and leader in her community for many years.
In Peekskill, Beverley is a proud member of the NAACP Peekskill Branch and recently served as Chair of its Health Committee. She also served as Vice President of the Greater Peekskill Area Chapter of the Westchester Black Women's Political Caucus, and in July 2024, she was appointed to the Westchester County Board of Health as the representative for the City of Peekskill.
Beverley believes in the power of collaborative leadership. She is committed to addressing the needs of her neighbors and strengthening the community she loves.
Now, she’s ready to bring that experience and dedication to the Peekskill Common Council — but she can’t do it without your support.
Your donation—no matter the size—will help Beverley connect with voters, listen to their concerns, and share her vision for a strong, healthy, and equitable Peekskill for all.
Thank you for being a part of this journey.
