Texas is a great state but it's moving in the wrong direction. I'm asking Texans to help me get it back on track.
Things have gotten too expensive for some of our neighbors and I'll do something about it. We’ll stop wasting tax dollars on pet projects and use them instead to fix problems like the cost of groceries, rents and property taxes. We’ll encourage competition to push prices down, and fight businesses and landlords who unfairly jack prices up.
The lights should stay on in a storm and people shouldn't drown because they don't get flood warnings. When I'm governor – and with your help – we'll stop the political bickering in Austin and focus the Legislature on fixing both problems.
Every person and every business needs a fair shot at making the most of their opportunities. Opportunity for all made Texas great. When I’m governor, more opportunity for all will make Texas even greater.
State government should be the best partner our businesses ever had. We’ll cut red tape that makes it hard to start or go grow a business, and we’ll offer incentives to businesses that move to Texas from countries.
We’ll spend more on our schools so that every child graduates ready to be a productive employee, to enter a trade, to join the military, to be a successful entrepreneur, or to pursue a higher education. Our youth are our future. Preparing them for it will make Texas a better state: a state where more people want to live and more businesses want to operate.
Every Texan who works their land farming or ranching should be free to make it their living. This can be challenging for homesteaders, but the Texas Constitution protects it and I’ll have their backs.
My vision is for Texas to again be the state where everyone has an equal chance – not just to survive, but to have something left over at the end of the week to help them build a brighter future.
Texans thrive when we work together, so please join me.
I need your help to fund a campaign that can win. Please contribute today.
