- Chairing the Personnel and Finance Committee where he leads in a bipartisan way to maximize value for residents while protecting town events and services
- Serving on the Planning Board during the prior mayor's term, as a strong voice against overdevelopment and a consistent opponent to the Park Woods development
- Serving on the Parking Committee where he responded to neighbors concerns and arranged for multiple traffic and parking studies to make Boonton safer and more accessible
- Serving on the Special Projects/Economic Development Committee where he has been working to generate new revenue streams for Boonton, protect our natural resources and provide new opportunities for us all.
- Leading the charge to write and pass in a bipartisan manner Boonton's first Tree Ordinance, protecting residents from the financial, safety and other impacts of indiscriminate tree removal and clearcutting

In recognition of his work, he was elected President of the Town Council in a unanimous bi-partisan vote!
