BeHeard Missouri aims to serve as a hub for local organizing and infrastructure building — turning frustration into productive action. Our mission is to educate Missourians on how to engage, provide actionable opportunities in collaboration with partner organizations, and build an electoral arm that advances the values of equity, justice, and democracy. This effort will create the foundation necessary to win back the state over the course of the next decade.
Turning things around in Missouri will take time — and no single tactic alone will get us there. Real progress requires a multi-pronged approach. We must educate and activate new volunteers and voters, support candidates up and down the ballot, and protect the critical initiative petition process, while using it strategically to advance the will of the people. BeHeard Missouri builds on the knowledge of organizers, activists, candidates and electeds and will create lasting change through the establishment of democratic infrastructure that spans education, action, and electoral power.
