Austin May for McHenry County Board, District 5

Hello and welcome! I grew up in McHenry County and while I've worked around the world, it has always been home. I've dedicated my life to public service: as an Army officer, a teacher, and a staffer for Democrats and Republicans, always advocating for American policy and values. It's taught me we can achieve anything when we're united.

I am running now because we are at a crisis point. We must ask ourselves, ask our neighbors, how do we want tomorrow to look? What do we want our children and grandchildren to inherit? As McHenry County grows, we must be fiscally responsible, economically prosperous, and safe. I will work for you and your family to do exactly that.
