Austin May for McHenry County Board, District 5

Hello and welcome! I grew up in McHenry County and while I have worked around the world, it has always been home. I've dedicated my life to public service, taught high school English, worked in Democratic and Republican offices, advocated for American policy and values, and continue to serve today in our armed forces.

I am running now because the US is at an inflection point. We must ask ourselves, and our neighbors, how do we want tomorrow to look? What do we want our children and grandchildren to inherit? As McHenry County grows, we must be fiscally responsible, economically prosperous, and safe. I will work for you and your family to do exactly that.
