Angela Romero represents House District 25 in the Utah Legislature and was elected House Minority Leader in 2023. In December, she will be sworn in as President of the National Hispanic Caucus of State Legislators.
Angela, a progressive leader in Utah, ensures all voices are heard. As a lifelong advocate for marginalized communities, Angela stands up for survivors of sexual assault and intimate partner violence, working families, environmental justice, our
children and neighborhoods, and community values.
Going forward, we know Angela will keep standing up for all of us and continue fighting on the issues that matter, including:
• Championing gender justice and reproductive rights.
• Pressing for better wages to help working families deal with inflation.
• Supporting survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking.
• Addressing the impacts of climate change.
• Fighting for greater resources for our students and teachers.
• Expanding health care coverage and providing mental health resources to those
in need.
• Supporting coordinated efforts to assist families and individuals experiencing
homelessness.
Angela stands up for everyday Utahns and now we need to Celebrate with Angela!
