Align Mississippi is a 501(c)(4) donor alliance created in 2023 to expand political infrastructure in our state that advances our cause of improving the material conditions of all Mississippians. We invest in coordinated campaigns, organizations, and tools that amplify values-aligned messages, develop in-state talent to lead campaigns and organizations, and help value-aligned candidates win close races.
We envision a Mississippi where values-aligned candidates, staff, and civic leaders have the tools to win consistently — from city council to U.S. Senate — and where communities can restore and protect their own democratic power. Our strategy focused on building missing infrastructure: a C4 alignment table, a voter data hub, a communications and research hub, a candidate pipeline, and a campaign to restore the direct democracy power of Mississippi’s ballot initiative process. With these tools, we will flip key races, mobilize infrequent voters, and advance policies that improve people’s lives.
