HELP BUILD WOMEN’S LEADERSHIP IN ALASKA

Alaska Women Ascend (AWA) is a non-profit, volunteer-driven training program that empowers progressive women across Alaska to lead — as candidates, campaign staff, and volunteers.

Since 2017, we’ve trained over 400 women statewide.

💜 60% of the 10 newest women elected to the Alaska State House are AWA graduates.

💜 For the first time in state history, women now make up the majority of the Alaska State House — and AWA helped make it happen.

🎯 Our goal: Train 100 more women across Alaska this year. Your gift today will help us get there!

WE SUPPORT WOMEN WHO ARE:

  • Pro-choice
  • Pro-LGBTQ rights
  • Pro-union
  • Pro-racial justice

We welcome all women and gender-expansive individuals (including Two-Spirit, non-binary, gender-fluid, and more), regardless of sex assigned at birth.

YOUR GIFT BUILDS POWER

AWA works. Our graduates are winning — and changing Alaska politics for the better.

Here are just a few of our alumnae:

…and hundreds more women leaders across Alaska.
