Aisha Elmquist is a graduate of Mounds View High School, and she and her family have called Arden Hills home for nearly 15 years. Aisha has served as a civil rights lawyer and leader in state government, supporting people needing elder care, disability services, and mental health care. With fundamental rights and vital supports for our communities increasingly under attack, she believes it’s essential to have strong voices at the Capitol defending them. As a past union member, she knows the importance of strong worker protections. She’s running to strengthen our communities and ensure every family has the opportunity to thrive.
