I grew up in the 1990s. Candy bars cost 50 cents. My parents bought a well-kept three-bedroom, two-bath house in a good neighborhood for $80,000. They took care of three kids between my Dad's income as a self-employed contractor and my Mom's part-time work as a school secretary. We didn't fly for vacations, but we were never hungry.

That life is gone. Instead, over the past 45 years, Republicans (and some Democrats) transferred over $50 trillion from the poor to the extremely rich using trickle-down tax policies, union busting and deregulation.

People are working three jobs to hang onto their rental, rationing their insulin or choosing which kid to send to college. Enough is enough.

Join us in the fight for a good life you can afford--Now. This ends when we stop trying to cram more money into the pockets of the rich and invest in each other.

Your donation helps us get our message out to Republicans and Independents, get the attention of national donors and electeds, and fight back against the disinformation Nick Langworthy is cooking up to try to derail us. Please: chip in what you can now, and if you can, donating monthly helps us to plan.
