My name is Aaron Baker, and I’m running to represent you in GA State House District 51.

Too many people have lost faith in our government. Almost everyone in Georgia believes that the government can’t get things done, constantly breaks promises, or even actively works against us. But it doesn’t have to be this way. I’m running to prove that not only can government work, but government can work for the people.

As a mom of two (and a stepmom of three more!), and I’ve spent years creating tools to bring transparency and accountability into Georgia politics. Now I want to bring that same spirit into building a government that actually works for everyone.

I believe every Georgian deserves safe, affordable housing, fully funded public schools, and a government that answers to people, not corporations and big donors. 

Of course, this is personal for me. If the Supreme Court overturns marriage equality, the legality of my marriage will go back to the states. We need people in the gold dome who are going to make it right.
