The 1000 Women Strong Education Fund drives our year-round c3 work to strengthen civic education, engagement, and voter registration across our eight key states.
Our mission is to build lasting civic power, education, and engagement in communities of color, and in communities most impacted by our six core policy pillars.
As part of this work, we annually engage more than 500,000 unregistered Black Women across our 8 states, equipping them with the tools to register ahead of their respective state deadlines and fully participate in shaping their communities’ future. Our paid fellowship and alumni program extends this impact by developing new cohorts of Black Women leaders to carry this work forward at the local level, and extend our local reach and impact. Our civic engagement events, coalition engagement, outreach is implemented year round.
1000 Women Strong Education Fund Policy Pillars:
Through 1000 Women Strong Education Fund, we work to grow turnout not just in one cycle, but year over year, creating a culture of civic engagement.
